IPTV Setup for Plex Live TV with Threadfin and xTeVe (M3U + XMLTV → HDHomeRun)

Plex takes live TV only from tuner devices such as HDHomeRun; it does not add an M3U list directly. Threadfin (and the older xTeVe) is an intermediate server that presents M3U and XMLTV sources to Plex as a single virtual HDHomeRun tuner. This guide covers installation and connection.
