My Kodi version is old, will it work?

In Kodi 19 and earlier the settings have a different format; follow the manual setup.

Does the settings file contain my password?

Yes if the M3U address contains a username and password; do not share the file.

What about movies/series instead of live?

For movies and series you can generate .strm files with the M3U to STRM tool and add them to the Kodi library.

Channels do not load?

Open the address in a browser or check it with the M3U Validator; then look at the Kodi log (kodi.log).
