1. Overview

Göktürk IPTV is an open-source-backed media center app built for Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, tablets and smartphones. This policy explains how data is processed in the app, the user panel, Web TV, the IPTV tools on gokturkiptv.com and the related support channels.

By using the services you accept the data processing described in this policy. Certain data fields are processed only when you use the relevant features. Göktürk IPTV does not host any streams or media.

2. Data collected

Depending on the feature you use, the following data may be processed:

• Account and authentication: e-mail address and the encrypted authentication data needed for session management.
• Profile and preferences: profile name, avatar, language, subtitle format, audio track and player preferences.
• Watch and state history: resume points, watch history and continue-watching points.
• Personal IPTV configuration: the M3U list, EPG links and favorite channel lists you add.
• Integration tokens: API tokens of services you optionally connect, such as Trakt or Debrid.
• IPTV tools (gokturkiptv.com/en/tools): in most tools the lists and account details you enter are processed only in your browser and are not sent to our servers. In tests that must reach a remote address the request is made through a temporary relay; the relay does not store the address or credentials.
• Members-only tools: if you sign in, the projects you save, hosted list contents and vault records are stored under your account. Passwords in the vault are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

3. Purpose of use

We process your data for the following purposes:

• Creating a user account and enabling multi-device synchronization.
• Remembering your settings, profiles and playback preferences.
• Providing continue-watching and cross-device transfer features.
• Running the members-only tools (cloud projects, vault, personal playlist link).
• Detecting errors, security checks, preventing abuse and improving service stability.

4. Third-party services

Depending on the features you use, data may be exchanged with these services:

• TMDb and Cinemeta: movie and series metadata, summaries and posters.
• Trakt: watch history and state synchronization if you connect it.
• OpenSubtitles: optional subtitle search and download.
• Cloudflare and Supabase: hosting, authentication, database and API optimization.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: anonymized usage statistics on gokturkiptv.com (IP anonymization is enabled).
• iptv-org (in tools): when the logo and channel database is downloaded, your browser connects directly to iptv-org.github.io.

5. Data retention and security

Your data is transmitted with modern encryption standards (TLS) and stored on secure infrastructure. When you delete your account, personal data tied to it is deleted from our systems. The hosting provider may keep standard technical records of requests (IP address, path, time) for security and debugging; the tool relay does not record addresses and credentials in the request body.

Personal playlist links contain unguessable long keys but anyone who knows the link can open the list. If your list contains addresses with usernames and passwords do not share the link; if in doubt change the key with 'Renew the link' in the tool.

6. Cookies and local storage

A session cookie (gk_session) on the .gokturkiptv.com domain is used to keep your session. Preferences such as theme and account display are kept in your browser's local storage. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar technologies; you can block them in your browser settings.

7. User rights (GDPR and KVKK)

Our users have the right to access their data, request correction, request deletion, object to processing and request data portability. To use these rights contact us at the addresses below. For the detailed KVKK notice see the KVKK page on the panel site.

8. Children's privacy

Göktürk IPTV does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The app includes parental control and profile PIN lock mechanisms.
